UR Physics major Stephen Privitera ('07) earned honorable mention in the 2007 NSF Graduate Fellowhship competition
UR Physics major Stephen Privitera earned honorable mention in the 2007 NSF Graduate Fellowhship competition. Last year, Stephen was also selected as a 2006 Goldwater Scholar (See Dept News Story). Stephen, a Physics and Mathematics double major (Class of 2007)has been working for Professor S. Rajeev at University of Rochester, in theoretical particle physics as part of the department's Research for Undergraduate Program.
