Kristin Beck, Physics Undergraduate Major, Wins a 2006 Iota Book Award
Congratulations to Kristin Beck, excellent physics undergraduate, class of 2009, who is one of the twelve recipients who won a 2006 Iota Book Award.
Annually, the Iota Book Awards are given to the previous year's top freshmen. Selection is based on recommendations from the College's faculty, administratiors, staff, and coaches who nominated the recipients. The criteria for the award also includes scholarly achievement, humanistic values, co-curricular activity, and leadershp potential. The Iota Book Awards are sponsored by The Iota Chapter of Phi Beta Kappa together with The College at the University of Rochester.
the award ceremony,Kristin will be celebrating her new award with the other recipients on Thursday, November 16, 2006, at the award ceremony hosted by Iota Chapter of Phi Beta Kappa.
