Esther M. Conwell, Professor of Chemistry and Physics, to Receive the University's 2006 Susan B. Anthony Lifetime Achievement Award
The Department is pleased to announce that Esther M. Conwell, Professor of Chemistry and Physics, has been named the recipient of the University of Rochester's 2006 Susan B. Anthony Lifetime Achievement Award.
This award honors preeminent women scholars, having a strong association with the University of Rochester, who best exemplify the admirable characteristics of Susan B. Anthony.
The University has chosen to recognize Prof. Conwell both for her consummate career accomplishments and her role in promoting the cause of women's equality in science and engineering through her leadership in the scientific community.
