Rochester Ranked 6th in Atomic/Molecular/Optical/Plasma (AMO/Plasma) in 2002 US News Survey

* Rochester graduate programs rated in latest U.S. New & World Report rankings Several graduate programs at the University are among the best in the country, according to newly ranked listings released today by U.S. News & World Report. Among the Rochester highlights in the new-for-2002 rankings are: School of Medicine and Dentistry -- ranked 7th among the top primary care programs; ranked 28th among research programs; The William E. Simon Graduate School of Business Administration -- ranked 23rd; The specialty of atomic/molecular/optical/plasma physics -- 6th.
