PHY 397A Supervised Science Writing II

Semester: Fall
Credit Hours: 2
Prerequisite: PHY 396A or PHY 396B or equivalent, instructors permission, and a first draft of a scientific article.

Two-credit course. Students will learn to write science articles aimed at professional scientists (e.g., a scientific publication). The course is aimed at students who already have a draft article (or BS/MS thesis) that they would like to improve and submit for publication in a professional journal and Web archives (cross-listed with ECE397A-parent course and ECE497B/PHY497B).
