PHY 381A Particle Physics I

Prerequisite: Permission of instructor required.

This course is the first six weeks of the Graduate-level course PHY 581. Topics include particle interactions and their symmetries. The particle spectrum and its classification. calculation of elementary processes. The quark model. CP violation. Accelerators and experimental techniques. It is a 2 credit course.
