PHY 107 History of Physics and Music

Semester: Fall
Credit Hours: 4
Prerequisite: No science or mucic prerequisites; just an appreciation of intellectual history and a desire to know

The course will meet twice a week. Students will learn about music, physical and astrophysical science and there common history prior to the Renaissance and topics including the cosmos, music of the spheres, and the legendary scholars and thinkers. Guest lectures from the Eastman School of Music, discussions, and demonstrations.
