AST 172Q Astronomy by Inquiry II

Continuation of AST 171Q, but AST 171Q is not a prerequisite. Students make their own astronomical observations, with the University's C.E.K. Mees Observatory, and use them as a basis for a quantitative understanding of the evolution of populations of stars, and of the nature of quasars and other active galactic nuclei.
